Training: 3D Printing in slovenian language

This training covers the basic use of 3D printers in our lab, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the various available technologies. With a total of 10 filament 3D printers (FDM), 3 resin 3D printers (SLA), 2 large-format printers, and an advanced selective laser sintering (SLS) printer, participants will have access to a variety of resources to bring their three-dimensional ideas to life.

The 3-hour training delves into the essential aspects of 3D printing. Participants will be instructed on the appropriate materials for each type of printer, the technologies involved, safety measures, and a critical analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the printing process. Additionally, participants will learn how to model efficiently for 3D printing, where to find ready-to-print files, how to prepare these files in slicing software, and the nuances of operating the printers.

At the end of the training, users will be fully qualified to operate the machines and 3D printers and this working station in FabLab.

Training is suitable for participants aged 14 or older.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers, which the mentor will show you. Please be on time, as late arrivals disrupt the workflow. In the case of a delay, entry to the lab cannot be guaranteed.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian unless stated otherwise.

The program is intended for participants older than 14 years, except where noted otherwise.

In case of cancellation, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend the program, the registration fee is non-refundable, and it is not possible to change the date. You can transfer your participation to another person, but please notify us at least 24 hours before the program begins at the email address: fablab@center-rog.si
