Screen printing for children

In the textile lab, we will be printing again. Join us! Bring your own t-shirt and print it yourself.

In Rog, we are organizing another Saturday workshop where children aged 6 to 10 can decorate their own t-shirts or textile bags. We will use various exciting printing pastes – puff, 3D effect, glitter, and more. Participants will learn the basics of screen printing on fabric, how to prepare for it, and what to pay attention to. They will be able to take home a unique printed item, whether it's on a t-shirt, cotton bag, or pillowcase.

Throughout the workshop, participants will develop their manual and motor skills, let their creativity flow, and get hands-on experience with screens and printing pastes. Welcome!

Kids should bring their own items for printing (t-shirts, pillowcases, tote bags, etc.). The items should be white or light-colored for easier printing.

For a smooth workflow, please wear clothes that can get permanently stained.

About the mentors:
The workshop will be led by Zala Hrastar, a mentor in the textile lab, a fashion and textile designer, and an expert in various screen printing techniques. Karmen Gombač – Fashion designer, expert in pattern-making, sewing, and various textile techniques and technologies.

Participants should arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start in the main lobby of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers indicated by the mentor. Late arrivals cannot be guaranteed access to the lab.

The program is conducted in Slovenian unless otherwise specified.

If the course is canceled, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you cannot attend, fees are non-refundable, and rescheduling is not possible. However, participation can be transferred to another person. Please notify us at least 24 hours before the program starts at tekstil@center-rog.si
