Revitalizing Indoor Plants

Why does a plant look all vital, upright, with vibrant green leaves when you buy it, but after a while, it’s no longer as beautiful as it was when you first got it? Should we just throw it away and buy a new one?

Definitely not! Even a plant that seems a little tired can be "revitalized" with a few simple tricks.

Join us for a workshop where we will learn how to enhance our indoor plants. We will cover both theoretical and practical knowledge about plant care, their growth patterns, and methods for rejuvenating them. We will explore simple yet effective techniques to make your plant look as good as new (tying, using supports, repotting, etc.).

Please bring two smaller plants (with a pot diameter of up to 12 cm) or one larger plant (maximum height of 0.5 m and pot diameter between 12 and 20 cm) that you would like to revitalize during the workshop.

We will also create cuttings during the workshop, which we will exchange at the end of the program. We invite all plant lovers who would like to learn how to better care for indoor plants.

About the mentors:

The workshop will be led by Maja Pogorelc from the Slovenian company Džungla Plants. Maja has been passionate about plants for many years. She regularly experiments with them and rejuvenates them. In Džungla Plants, she plays the role of store manager, while also taking care of creating content for the website and the health of the plants on offer.

The meeting point for participants is 15 minutes before the scheduled time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers, which the mentor will show you. Please do not be late, as it disrupts the working process. Unfortunately, we cannot allow entry into the lab if you are late.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian unless otherwise stated.
In case of cancellation, we will notify you two days before the planned start.

If you cannot attend the program, the participation fee is non-refundable, and it’s not possible to change the date. You can transfer your participation to someone else, but please notify us at least 24 hours before the program starts via email: zeleni@center-rog.si
