Garden Bed Markers [1st Meeting]

Neighbour's Day – Create, Collaborate, and Celebrate with Us

Join us for a preparatory meeting for Neighbour's Day, where we will create garden bed markers for the community garden in Park izbrisanih.

On Neighbour's Day, we will also plant, arrange, and sow in the garden beds in Park izbrisanih, in front of Center Rog. To keep track of what has been planted in each bed, we will make brass markers during the preparatory meetings, imprinting them with the names of the sown plants. Over time, the brass plates will develop a beautiful patina, further enhancing the garden beds.

Meeting dates (you are welcome to join more than one session):

On Saturday, 7 June, Neighbour's Day will take place all day in Park izbrisanih. This event connects the neighbourhood’s residents as well as organisations, associations, institutes, and institutions operating in the area, along with anyone who, even if not a direct neighbour, feels part of the community. The event is dedicated to relaxed socializing, getting to know each other, and participating in various activities we will prepare together. On this day, Center Rog will open its doors wide, offering numerous free workshops, guided tours of the building and labs, sports activities, a community picnic, and a swap market, lasting throughout the evening.
