LED light sign
28. 8. 2025

At the workshop in FabLab, we'll combine electronics, programming, and design to create your very own illuminated masterpiece. We'll start by exploring how LED lighting works and how it can be used in various contexts. Then, we’ll take our first steps with the Arduino microcontroller and learn the basics of programming in C++. We'll build an electronic circuit to control an LED strip, use a soldering iron for the first time, and put our new knowledge into practice.
But the workshop won’t be all about technology. In the creative part, you'll use a laser cutter to design a unique motif on plexiglass, which will complement your LED project and transform it into a special lamp. At the end of the workshop, each participant will take home a fully functional, programmed, and custom-designed light creation – either as a gift or a unique addition to their space.
This workshop is a great choice for anyone interested in the world of LED technology and looking to gain beginner-level skills in Arduino, electronics, and digital material processing – no prior experience required.
Please bring your own laptop to the workshop.
