Metal Candle Holder

In the metal lab, we will create a metal candle holder – a detail that can brighten up any home. Under guidance, you will learn the basics of cutting, grinding, and MIG welding, and craft a unique piece from steel profiles. The workshop is designed for hobbyists and beginners, so no prior experience is required. Your candle holder will be entirely your own creation – from the initial sketch to the final polishing.

Mentor
Tajda Novšak is a mentor in the metal lab, holds a master’s degree in sculpture, and is a creator of scenography and props.

Participants are asked to gather 15 minutes before the scheduled time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers shown by the mentor. Kindly avoid arriving late, as this disrupts the workflow. In case of delay, we unfortunately cannot guarantee entry to the lab.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian, unless otherwise specified.

If the workshop is canceled, you will be notified two days before the planned start date.
Participation fees are non-refundable, and dates cannot be rescheduled. However, you may transfer your spot to another person — please inform us at least 24 hours before the start of the program by emailing kovina@center-rog.si.
