Metal candle holder

Are you interested in working with metal but have no experience? Join us for a workshop in the metal lab, where we will create a simple yet elegant candle holder.

Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you will learn the basics of metalworking techniques and how to use the most common metal processing tools. We will begin by cutting metal pieces with a band saw and smoothing them with an angle grinder. Then, we will refine the surfaces further with a file to ensure a perfectly smooth finish. The finished candle holder will be a beautiful decoration for your home or a unique gift. Since it can be easily assembled and disassembled, it is particularly suitable for smaller spaces.

This workshop is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to explore working with metal – no prior knowledge is required.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers provided, as instructed by the mentor. Do not arrive late, as this disrupts the workflow. In case of delay, we unfortunately cannot guarantee entry into the lab.

The program is conducted in Slovenian, unless stated otherwise.

If the workshop is canceled, you will be notified two days in advance.

If you are unable to attend, fees are non-refundable, and rescheduling is not possible. However, you may transfer your spot to another person – please inform us at least 24 hours before the workshop via email at kovina@center-rog.si.
