Neighbor’s Day – Create, Collaborate, and Celebrate with Us
Neighbor’s Day is a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors, start a conversation with the lady you meet weekly at the library or the man you stand in line with at the local bakery.
Since starting a conversation can be difficult without an icebreaker, for this year’s Neighbor’s Day, we have prepared a fun game where participants will look for pairs of words or phrases printed on ceramic mugs.
To make sure we have enough mugs for all participants, we invite you to join us for the preparatory meeting in the ceramics lab, where we will create the mugs under the guidance of our mentors.
Do you have an idea for words or phrases that we could print on the mugs? Throughout April, we will collect suggestions for word pairs on the board in the lobby of Center Rog. Feel free to add yours.
Meeting Dates (feel free to join us for more than one preparatory session):
- Wednesday, April 23, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Wednesday, April 30, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Wednesday, May 7, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Wednesday, May 28, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

On Saturday, June 7, Neighbor’s Day will take place in Park izbrisanih all day. This event connects the residents of the neighborhood, as well as organizations, associations, institutions, and establishments in the area, as well as those who may not be immediate neighbors but feel like they are. It is designed for relaxed socializing, getting to know one another, and various activities that we will prepare together. On this day, Center Rog will open its doors wide and offer numerous free workshops, tours of the building and labs, sports activities, a community picnic, and an exchange of items that will continue until the evening.
