Homemade dishes from pulled dough with Iva Verbnik

At the cooking workshop, we will revive the knowledge of our grandmothers and learn how to prepare pulled dough and simple dishes from it. Pulled dough is the basis for various delicious dishes such as savory and sweet rolls, štruklji, and more.
It is intended for all adults who would like to learn how to make homemade pulled dough, choose the right flour, and get ideas on how to use it in various dishes. Mag. Iva Verbnik, univ. dipl. ing. food technology, dietitian - master of integral quality system management and graduate food technology engineer who graduated in dietetics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dražigost Pokorn, will be present at the workshop.
Food and nutrition have interested her since early childhood, as she enjoyed cooking and exploring even as a girl. For 35 years, she has been researching and educating herself in the field of nutrition and its impact on human health. She is particularly interested in how to eat to remain as vital as possible and how to deal with health problems. In recent years, she has been increasingly educating herself in the use of medicinal herbs. Iva believes that we can do a lot for our health ourselves, but it is necessary to have certain knowledge. She is convinced that everything we need grows in our local environment and that instead of using foods from distant lands, we should revive the knowledge of our ancestors, who knew how to use local foods and medicinal herbs.
The participants of the workshop should gather in the entrance hall of the Center Rog 5 minutes before the agreed-upon time.
Registration fees for workshops are non-refundable. Attendance at the workshop can be transferred to another person, please notify us at least 24 hours before the start at the email address: kuhanje@center-rog.si.
