For the masquerade, I will be ... a kurent! [8.2.]

When Carnival comes, Kurents chase away winter and bring spring. For this year's festivities, children can create the famous Kurent mask in our textile lab.

In the workshop, they will learn how to craft a unique mask from fabric scraps and recycled materials. We will use the leather painting technique, cut colorful crepe ribbons, and crochet yarn to create the Kurent's mane.

The workshop, led by textile mentors Zala Hrastar and Ana Meljo, is intended for children aged 6 to 12.

Participants should gather in the entrance hall of the Rog Center 5 minutes before the scheduled time. Children participate in the workshop without the accompaniment of parents.

The workshop will be conducted with a minimum of 6 registrations. In case of cancellation, participants will be notified at least two days before the program begins.

Participation in the workshop can be transferred to another person; please inform us at least 24 hours before the workshop begins via email at info@center-rog.si.
