Displaying the pruning of fruit trees

In the new park of the Rog Center, we planted numerous fruit trees and bushes last year. We are delighted to invite you to join us for a practical demonstration of pruning our trees. Pruning fruit trees is crucial for their health and a bountiful harvest, but it is also a complex task that requires expertise and careful handling. It is important to choose the right approach to maintain the vitality of the trees and optimize their fruitfulness.

The demonstration will be led by experienced orchardist, Marko Babnik, MSc in Agronomy, who has been devoted to planting and caring for fruit plants for over 50 years. He is the author of the manual 'Practical Guide for Amateur Orchardists,' which is a valuable source of knowledge and advice.

Join us and learn the basics of pruning that will help maintain the health and beauty of your garden or orchard as well.

We will meet in front of the main entrance of the Rog Center, on the Trubarjeva Street side. Participation is free of charge.
