Neighbor Day

We’re counting down the days to this year’s Neighbor Day, taking place at Center Rog and the Park izbrisanih on Saturday, June 7, 2025.

We’ll be spending the whole day together, as we’ve prepared a diverse selection of free activities and workshops for all generations to celebrate the neighborhood holiday. We’ll practice yoga, compete in a wooden car race, and try our hand at spinning a pottery wheel. Both children and adults will be able to take part in numerous creative workshops. Some of the organizations active in the neighborhood will also present themselves.

There will also be a community picnic, and we warmly invite everyone to contribute homemade treats from your own kitchen. We’ll quench our thirst with homemade kombucha. And for those with a sweet tooth, we’ve ordered pancakes and ice cream.

*We invite you to bring homemade finger foods to the cooking lab starting at 10:00. Please label the packaging with the ingredients. The mentors will prepare the food for serving at the community picnic in the park from 13:00 onwards.

Drinks will be served in deposit glasses (€2), but you are welcome to bring your own glass.

We reserve the right to change the program. In case of rain, activities and schedule will be adjusted — all events will take place inside the Center Rog building.

Neighbor Day is also part of the celebration of the birthday of Trubarjeva Street, which was renamed from St. Peter Street in June 1952. You are invited to visit the nearby shops and venues on Saturday, June 7th from 12:00, which have prepared an interesting program with concerts, workshops, and other activities for the day.
