Carnival paper masks

The masks with abstract shapes resembling various creatures are a guaranteed hit on the dance floor and are equally adorable for kids’ costume parties.

During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to create their own mask using a laser cutter and colored cardboard. Subsequently, the mask components will be assembled using a hot glue gun, and for additional luster, they will be adorned with glitter, feathers, and other shiny embellishments, or left in a simple and more minimalist appearance.

This workshop is intended for all designers, artists and creators and for anyone who enjoys hands-on work and crafting their own objects. Participants will be allowed to keep the mask they create at the conclusion of the workshop.

The workshop is a great fun for the whole family. The intergenerational workshop is intended for one parent and one child over the age of 8 years old. Adults can apply here, and the child can be applied HERE. (LINK DO KATEGORIJE ZA OTROKE).

Upon registration for the workshop, participants must submit their preferred mask design through a provided form! In the form choose one mask that will be made by the child and one mask that will be made by the adult.

About the mentor:

The workshop will be held by Grega Matjan, mentor at FabLab.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers, which the mentor will show you. Please be on time, as late arrivals disrupt the workflow. In the case of a delay, entry to the lab cannot be guaranteed.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian unless otherwise stated.

In case of cancellation, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend the program, the registration fee is non-refundable, and it is not possible to change the date. You can transfer your participation to another person, but please notify us at least 24 hours before the program begins at the email address: fablab@center-rog.si
