Bag for a mobile phone

This time, children will create in two labs at the Center Rog – the textile lab and the FabLab.

In the workshop, children will create their own bag from faux leather onto which they will embroider a motif of their choice (a fox, tulip, butterfly, etc.). We will cut out the base of the bag in the FabLab, and then the children will hand-embroider the motif using the cross-stitch technique in the textile lab. The finished product can be taken home and used as a bag for a mobile phone, wallet, or any other small item.

During the workshop, children will learn how to create a unique and useful bag from scraps of waste faux leather and yarn.

The workshop is intended for children between 8 and 14 years old. Children will participate in the workshop without parental supervision.

About the mentors:

The workshop will be led by mentors from the textile lab, Karmen Gombač and Vita Ivičić.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers, which the mentor will show you. Please be on time, as late arrivals disrupt the workflow. In the case of a delay, entry to the lab cannot be guaranteed.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian unless otherwise stated. In case of cancellation, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend the program, the registration fee is non-refundable, and it is not possible to change the date. You can transfer your participation to another person, but please notify us at least 24 hours before the program begins at the email address: tekstil@center-rog.si
