The residents for the Weaver's residency have been selected

The weavers selected for the new two-week residency program—aimed at promoting the use of the Center Rog textile lab’s newest addition, a handloom—have been selected.
The project consisting of five consecutive residencies, is organized under the umbrella of the RogDesignDays 2025 festival, whose central theme is “Boundaries and Frictions”.
The selected residents will contribute their woven pieces to a final collective piece, which will be exhibited at the annual production showcase of Center Rog – RogExpo – in November 2025.
The open call was published between February 20 and March 31, 2025, and received 16 applications from 14 different countries, including Australia, Ghana, Serbia, Palestine, and various European nations. Based on the selection criteria, the jury chose 5 candidates who will take part in the residencies during the summer of 2025.
The jury awarded the two-week weaving residencies to the following applicants:
- Kristi Komel (Slovenia)
- Hanna Zabudska (Ireland)
- Margaux Minodier in Manon Pigeon ((Belgium)
- Tia (Victoria) Ansell (Australia)
- Lars Preisser (Germany)
