In August 2026, we will host Rog Craft Retreat at Center Rog for the first time—a one-week international creative retreat designed for anyone seeking a deeper, hands-on experience of craftmaking in the inspiring and contemporary setting of Ljubljana. The program will take place from 9 to 16 August 2026 and is conceived as an intimate, thoughtfully structured experience for a small group, allowing time, focus, and a personal approach.

Rog Craft Retreat will be conducted in English and is primarily intended for an international group of participants looking for a high-quality and content-rich creative experience in Slovenia. This will be the pilot edition of a new program, offered on this occasion at a special introductory price, valid this year only. As such, the retreat represents a unique opportunity for those who wish to take part in the first edition and help shape the beginning of a new international program at Center Rog.

Over the course of one week, we will bring together hands-on craft practice in ceramics and jewellery design, independent studio work in the workshops of Center Rog, guided creative processes led by experienced mentors, as well as selected visits and local experiences in Ljubljana. Participants will stay in the residential apartments at Center Rog, allowing them to live and create under the same roof throughout the retreat.

Rog Craft Retreat is designed as a small-group experience for 5 to 6 participants, enabling in-depth work, direct mentor interaction, and a strong sense of community. The program is not a traditional course or a tourist package; rather, it is a carefully structured creative retreat that prioritizes process, a slower pace, and conscious making with materials. It is intended both for beginners and for designers, creatives, and craftspeople who wish to step outside their usual working frameworks and devote a week to their own creative practice.

This year, we are offering Rog Craft Retreat for the first time, on a limited scale and at a special price that will be higher in future editions. Due to the small number of available places and a single edition in 2026, this is a unique experience, available in this form only this year, and intended for anyone drawn to a deep, international, and content-rich creative experience in Ljubljana.
