Socialdress Wall Chart (On Work)
Stripburger/Forum Ljubljana and KUD Trivia, in partnership with RogLab, have organised the Socialdress Wall Chart (On work) workshops, which took place in RogLab in January and February 2014. All manner of participants, regardless of their previous sewing or design experiences, were welcome.
The Socialdress Wall Chart (On work) is part of the Socialdress art project by Marija Mojca Pungerčar. Within the project we created a collection of so-called 'wall embroideries' on the theme of work connected to traditional household decorative textile products. Usually these are combinations of enlightening and humorous proverbs and images on topics ranging from the kitchen, food to family relations.
By focusing on work that has become one of the most relevant social problems, the textile wall embroidery obtained an additional wall chart character as usually used for hanging notifications on current events on the wall.
