Opportunity for a Portfolio Review with David and Hana Tavčar
Are you at the stage of building your portfolio and want it to truly showcase everything you can do? If you’re still a student or a young creator developing your own practice and applying to design study programs in Slovenia or abroad, this opportunity is for you. Come to an individual portfolio review with David and Hana Tavčar, renowned designers who are developing the Dead Stock project in one of the project studios at Center Rog.
David works at the intersection of industrial design and visual communications, bringing extensive experience from the fashion industry as well as exhibition and curatorial practice. His work also includes marketing consulting, the development of textile products and merchandise, scenography, and exhibition design.
Hana is a painter and a textile and fashion designer who has received several awards. In her practice, she explores traditional craft and industrial techniques, translating them into a contemporary design language. She works as a stylist for commercials and music videos, creates costume design for theatre productions, and develops her own line of products.
Together, they can help you think more broadly, strategically, and confidently.
You are invited to an individual portfolio review on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM in Studio 15 (Center Rog, 3rd floor).
In the one-on-one session, you will receive:
– concrete and honest feedback,
– practical advice for improving your portfolio,
– guidance for clearer presentation of your design approach,
– encouragement to take the next step.
Register by Thursday, 16 April 2026, via the form at the link, and upload a digital version of the portfolio you want to submit for review.
If you want your portfolio to be more than just a collection of projects, but a strong story about who you are as a designer, don’t miss this opportunity.
