Opening Programme of UNICUM 2026 at Center Rog

On Friday, 15 May, Center Rog will host the opening of the exhibition presented as part of the 6th International Ceramics Triennial UNICUM 2026. The opening weekend will also include panel discussions with international guests, guided tours of the exhibition, and drop-in clay workshops for children, families, and visitors of all generations.

The programme at Center Rog begins on Friday at 18.00 with the panel discussion Contemporary Ceramics: Current Perspectives, which will address contemporary ceramic practices, education, curating, and production. At 19.00, the exhibition opens in the Exhibition Hall at Center Rog.

On Saturday, 16 May, the programme continues with a guided tour of the exhibition, a panel discussion on sustainability in ceramic practice, and three open cross-generation workshops. Visitors will be invited to explore free-form making with clay, paint ceramic tiles for a community portrait wall in Park Izbrisanih, and take part in a clay extrusion workshop led by Rok Oblak.
