Get ready for 5. Slovenian Jewelry Week 2026: Substance / Reimagined
This year, Center Rog will once again host the Slovenian Jewelry Week SIJW. The fifth, anniversary edition explores the meaning of material — its essence, its transformations, and the moment when re-imagining begins. In a world shaped by digitalization, artificial intelligence, and virtual environments, the central exhibition invites designers to examine the evolving relationship between the material and the spiritual, the physical and the virtual, tradition and contemporary technologies.
A total of 154 designers from 35 countries applied to this year’s open call for the SIJW 2026 central exhibition at Center Rog. The international jury selected 55 creators, who will be joined by invited guests in the accompanying exhibitions. Altogether, more than 100 exhibitors from 27 countries will be presented.
Slovenian Jewelry Week 2026 confirms its role as a key platform for contemporary jewelry in the region and beyond. The strong international response clearly demonstrates the project’s exceptional diversity and global reach.
In line with the sustainability commitment of Center Rog, the existing exhibition structure from last year’s exhibition will be reused and reconfigured for this year’s installation.
You are warmly invited to the opening ceremony on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Main Hall of Center Rog. The SIJW 2026 exhibition will be on display at Center Rog from March 27 to April 18, 2026.
