Neighbor Day 2025: Pottery Wheel Spinning Competition

On Neighbor Day, Saturday, June 7, 2025, there will be a special pottery wheel spinning competition at 4 PM and 5 PM. Test your skills on the wheel. Practical prizes await the winners.
Competition rules:
- Amount of clay: Each participant receives 3 kg of clay.
- Preparation time: Each participant has 10 minutes before the start to prepare the clay (kneading).
- Spinning time: Then follows 15 minutes of spinning on the pottery wheel.
- Goal: Create a piece with a minimum diameter of 10 cm. The height of the cylinder will be measured.
- Retries: Participants can start over but will not receive additional clay – they must work with the same clay they already have.
- Judging: After the time is up, height and diameter will be evaluated.
