Clothing exchange BRING & TAKE AWAY at the Center Rog
Do you have any piece of clothing hiding in your closets that you no longer wear, but it's still perfectly nice and usable?
Bring it to the clothing exchange BRING & TAKE AWAY, which we organize at the Center Rog in collaboration with the Department of Textile and Fashion Design at NTF UL on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. The exchange will start at 2 p.m. and last until 9 p.m.
With this event, we are joining the 10th Fashion Revolution Week, which includes various events around the world. Fashion Revolution Week is organized annually by the global movement Fashion Revolution, in memory and reminder of the tragic event when the Rana Plaza factory collapsed in Bangladesh, burying more than 1,100 people. It highlights the urgency of changes in the fashion and textile industry.
With the clothing exchange BRING & TAKE AWAY, we aim to support more sustainable approaches in fashion and dressing and encourage the exchange of clothes that are still usable but no longer worn.
Anyone can participate in the event. The event is also supported by Slovenian fashion designers who will contribute their designer clothes.
