A clay extruder for recycling clay is used to process and reclaim leftover or dried clay by compressing and de-airing it into a reusable, consistent form. It improves plasticity, removes air bubbles, and prepares the clay for further hand-building or wheel-throwing.

  • Capacity: 600 kg of clay per hour
  • Purpose: mixing larger quantities of different clays and kneading clay during recycling.
  • The recommended amount of clay per reservation is at least 100 kg.

Usage time (including preparation and cleaning):

  • duration of one time slot is 2 hours
  • station usage possible: 2–8 hours/day
  • reservation is possible at least 24 hours and no more than 7 days before the start of the time slot
  • cancellation of the reservation is possible up to 2 hours before the time slot
  • with timely cancellation, the same single-entry ticket can be used again

To make a reservation, I need:

  • single-entry ticket or
  • monthly package or
  • annual package

The reservation is confirmed by the Ceramic Lab staff. Machine use is learned on site, so please allocate additional time for training.
