Vegetable mandala, patties, and apple crumble

At the beginning of the workshop, which will conclude with a delicious communal lunch, we will first chat about our favorite dishes and cooking experiences. Then, we will teach each other how to thoroughly wash vegetables and fruits, peel and chop or dice them into appropriately sized pieces. One group will then start preparing the soup, while another will prepare and season the vegetables for roasting in the oven. While these are cooking and baking, we will all work together to prepare patties with legumes. We will shape the patties, push them into the oven, and prepare a dressing and sauce for the salad. During the remaining time until everything is baked, we will also prepare a crumble, which will bake during our lunch, where parents can also join us. When the dessert is ready, we will serve it hot with vanilla ice cream. During lunch, we will assess and compliment each other on everything that turned out well and discuss possible improvements.

The workshop will be led by Nina Barbič, who has been masterfully preparing mostly vegetarian dishes, baking bread, and pastries for two decades. She is a passionate advocate for actively involving young people, teaches yoga for teenagers, and strives to guide young people towards a healthy and balanced relationship with themselves and others.

Participants should gather 5 minutes before the agreed-upon time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Children will participate in the workshop without parental supervision.

The workshop will proceed with a minimum of 6 registrations. In case of cancellation, participants will be notified no later than two days before the program's start.

Registration fees are non-refundable. Participation in the workshop can be transferred to another person by informing us at least 24 hours before the start via email at kuhanje@center-rog.si.
