In the children’s workshop Baked Carnival Donuts, young culinary enthusiasts will create delicious donuts baked in the oven—a healthier yet equally tasty alternative to traditional fried donuts. Children will learn about basic ingredientsand simple dough preparation techniques, after which they will bake the donuts. The fun continues with decorating, as the freshly baked donuts will be adorned with sugar glazes, chocolate, and colorful sprinkles, bringing them to life in true Carnival spirit. This workshop is a great opportunity for creative socializing, learning baking skills, and having fun while preparing a classic festive treat.

The program is intended for children aged 7 and older, as well as teenagers who want to learn how to make a healthier version of donuts or simply enjoy a fun and creative experience with peers.

About the mentor:

The workshop will be led by Juš Mejaš, mentor of the Food Lab, a master of baking and juggling.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers provided, as instructed by the mentor. Do not arrive late, as this disrupts the workflow. In case of delay, we unfortunately cannot guarantee entry into the lab.

The program is conducted in Slovenian, unless stated otherwise.

If the workshop is canceled, you will be notified two days in advance.

If you are unable to attend, fees are non-refundable, and rescheduling is not possible. However, you may transfer your spot to another person – please inform us at least 24 hours before the workshop via email at kuhanje@center-rog.si.
